The Segment clamp from inTrak was developed to operate with a drive unit and handle the transport of tubbings for TBM’s in tunneling. The electric actuators can be supplied from the drive unit. Alternatively, a hydraulic version with an external hydraulic powerpack is also possible.
To negotiate with the tubbing from any position, the Segment clamp can be rotated by 90 °. Thus simple yet robust design ensures constant functionality with simple maintenance.
Monorail-mounted lifting beams are a proven way of transport, which had their origins at the underground mining industry. The Heavy weight lifting beam from inTrak was designed and built for the transport of heavy devices and machines in underground mines. Integrated into a diesel or battery driven Monorail, the object can be transported safely and without any disturbance anywhere through the the whole mine along the roof gallery. Special attention was paid to the flexibility of this transport device.
